Qbic Hotels are found in both London and Amsterdam, with a focus on making a city hotel affordable and green. Quirky, fashionable, and perfect for the budget traveler. The London City hotel can work out at less than £100 a night if you book smart, so will make exploring the city on a budget pretty achievable.
- Smart room – The cheapest of the lot, with no window but all of the other handy amenities one would need from their hotel
- Cosy room – Their standard double, which is a good sized room and comes with a window!
- Fun room – Their large double which has a bit more space and a comfy sofa bed…Oh and a window.
All of the rooms come with superfast free wi-fi, a rainshower (yessss), really comfy beds, and free tea and coffee. They are pretty basic, but then you do get what you pay for at the Qbic.
The bar and restaurant at Qbic matches their quirky personality, with delicious cocktails and funky decor. If you’re staying for more than one night then you’ll bag yourself a free drink for opting not to have your room cleaned; not because they reward grubby guests, but because it’s good for the environment! Just pop your adorable ‘Do Not Disturb’ teddy (which we swear everyone who stays here has taken home) on the door and then head down to the bar in the evening to claim your free drink.
Overall, the Qbic Hotel in London City is a great budget hotel to explore all that London has to offer and for those who like to live on the quirkier (and greener) side of life.
