Wonderful value for money – this place is an excellent and comfortable hotel, with a really attractive casino. One of the best experience we ever had in Vegas was when we stayed at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. It’s got a wonderful location and is an excellent place to come if you want to see a show. And, with renovations almost completed, it looks like this place will be even better in the future.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Paradise Road, Las Vegas NV 89169 ****

Now, if there’s one chain that knows how to provide budget luxury, it’s Hard Rock. This is a wonderful choice when visiting the city, and has such a distinct and unique feel to it. The rooms are all decorated with leather, and wood, and they look really sleek and modern. The casino is also pretty awesome here as well and never gets as overcrowded as many of the other Vegas casinos.

Luxor, Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89119 ***

Price: From $64 per night

Luxor is a hotel that should cost hundreds of dollar per night, but, incredibly, there are rooms available for as little as $64 per night. It’s a lovely, elegant, opulent hotel, with much more luxury than its price would suggest. The pyramid design adds an air of intrigue and mystery, and the casino here is excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, comfy, and basic, and the location is ideal. Sometimes, if you want the best budget accommodation money can buy, it’s a good idea to go for a chain hotel.

Super 8 is one of those cool retro hotel, the likes of which can only be found on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s oozing with charm and character, and this is one of the things we love so much about it. If you’re tired of the noise, and the frenetic nature of Vegas life, this is the place for you. And, each morning you will get to enjoy free coffee in the lobby too!

Less than 5 miles from the Strip, this is a hotel with so much to offer guests. It’s the perfect budget joint because it gives you so much for your money. The decor is excellent, and the rooms are the perfect combination of really smart and effortlessly retro. And, as a bonus, the casino in here is 90,000 square feet of awesome!

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89109 ****

We like to refer to this place as the Jewel of the Desert, and it’s pretty clear why. This is the epitome of opulence and decadence in Vegas, and you can enjoy it for a budget price. With a night here usually setting you back over $250, if you get the right dates, you can stay here for just $70! The service is great, the location is really convenient, and the rooms are staggeringly good.

Best Western are well known for their ability to satisfy and provide precisely what customers need. This is a wonderful example of everything they do well as a hotel chain. The rooms are fantastic, and the reception staff were among the friendliest and most helpful (they printed us a map of Old Las Vegas and recommended some areas) we have encountered.

Wow is the only word we can use to describe this place. It’s one of the best value places in the whole of Vegas, and it pretty much has everything you could want. The hotel is wonderfully clean, and the beds are so light it’s like sleeping on cotton wool. Oh, and the views here are worth the room price alone!

The Signature – MGM Grand, East Harmon Ave, Las Vegas NV 89019 ****

Price: From $84 per night

The Signature is a delightful luxury hotel on the Vegas Strip that is bursting at the seams with all the decadence you would expect from a Vegas hotel. It has no less than 3 outdoor pools, a fitness centre, amazing suites, and a state-of-the-art casino. And you can stay here on a budget by saving over 70% right now, although we’re not sure how long their offers will last.

The Artisan Boutique Hotel, West Sahara Ave, Las Vegas NV 89102 ***

Now, THIS is a hotel with a difference, and it certainly won’t be for everybody.
