We pride ourselves on being open, honest and transparent at Travel Budgeter. That’s why we’ve got a page here detailing the affiliates we use, how they work, and why we picked them. None of the content we write is impacted by the affiliates we choose – never, ever. We only have two affiliates; one for accommodation and one for flights. We also don’t hide affiliate links within content, they’ll always be clearly marked. We hope our transparency proves to you that our goal is to help you travel the world on a budget, nothing else!
Accommodation – Booking.com
We use Booking.com to provide you with an accommodation search, found in our sidebar and within the guides. We personally use Booking.com to book hotels ourselves, as we’ve found that it’s quick, easy and they (nearly) always have the best prices. Also, you can book now and pay later, which is always handy when budgeting. None of the hotels linked within our content are affiliate links – all we have is the search bar. We believe in giving you a choice, so you can search away using Booking.com or go direct with one of the hotels we’ve picked ourselves. If you do book through the search bar on our site then we receive a tiny bit of commission which helps us keep the site up and running. It doesn’t add anything on to the price you pay, ensuring you always get that budget accommodation you’re looking for!
